In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sidhwalia P.S. Case No. 206 of 2018 registered for offences under sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

An allegation has been made that the police, on secret information, raided the house of one Dasai Chaudhary and from there, huge quantity of 80 liters 880 ml illegal liquor were recovered.

As per First Information Report, the petitioner fled away from the place of occurrence and managed to save himself from being arrested by the police.

This Court is not inclined to grant privilege of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.79105 of 2018(2) dt.10-01-2019 2/2 anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected. If the petitioner surrenders before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, the court below, without being prejudiced by this order, will take a decision in accordance with law.
