In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 136 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471. 489A, 489 B, 489 C, 120 B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Allegation has been made that the co-accused Baidyanath Sahni was apprehended with 30 fake currency notes of Rs.2,000/- and he has taken the name of the petitioner as his associate.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.78951 of 2018(2) dt.09-01-2019 2/2 for bail is rejected.
