The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 943 of 2018 arising out of Buxar (T) P.S. Case No. 559 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(i) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2018. The allegation is regarding recovery of 42.3 litres of illicit liquor from a Tempo after the same was apprehended by the Police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that neither the Tempo belongs to the petitioner nor the illicit liquor is that of the petitioner herein. The petitioner is stated to be having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 12.10.2018.

Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IInd-cumSpecial Judge Excise, Buxar in connection with Excise Case No. 943 of 2018 arising out of Buxar (T) P.S. Case No. 559 of 2018.
