The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 192C2 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a), 32, 41, 56(a) & 56(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 50 liters of illicit liquor from the motorcycle being driven by the petitioners. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioners are having a clean antecedent and are languishing in custody since

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners coupled with the fact that the petitioners are having a clean antecedent, I deem it fit and proper to direct for release of the petitioners on regular bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions JudgeII cum Special Judge Excise, Lakhisarai in connection with Excise Case No. 192C-2 of 2019.
