During pendency of the present MJC-contempt petition, concerned respondent have disbursed compensation amount to the extent of 1,83,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Eighty ₹ Three Thousand Only) on 20.06.2023. It does not carry interest from the date it was due, in this regard the petitioner is permitted to make a detailed representation. Concerned
Patna High Court MJC No.2303 of 2018(7) dt.21-06-2023 2/2 respondent proceed to calculate interest and disburse the same at the earliest.
3. Further, if petitioner is disputed in respect of fixation of compensation of 1,83,000/- (Rupees One Lakh ₹ Eighty Three Thousand Only) he is also at liberty to submit a detailed representation. If such representation is submitted the concerned authority is hereby directed to pass a detailed speaking order and communicate the same to the petitioner within a reasonable period of time.
4. With the above observation, the present contempt proceedings stands dropped.
5. If the concerned respondent fails to comply, petitioner is at liberty to file Interlocutory Application in reviving contempt proceedings.
