The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 672 of 2019 arising out of Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 220 of 2019 for the offence registered under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. The allegation is regarding recovery of 220.6 litres of illicit liquor from co-accused person, namely, Manmohan Singh, who upon interrogation, has taken the name of the petitioner as his accomplice.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 28.10.2019.

No.83335 of 2019(2) dt.16-12-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-III-cum-Special Judge (Excise) Act, Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Excise Case No. 672 of 2019 arising out of Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 220 of 2019.
