The grievance of the petitioner-Paras Nath Giri is that being the only son of the deceased employee, namely, Devanand Giri, he has not been paid the amounts due under various heads, including commutation, provident fund, group insurance and death-cum-retirement gratuity (DCRG) of his father in spite of the representation dated 06.07.2013 (Annexure 5 to the writ
Patna High Court CWJC No.16515 of 2018(3) dt.13-01-2021 2/2 petition) for the same having been made before the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, RPF, South Eastern Railway, Kharagpur (Respondent No.2).
The record reveals that the father of the petitioner voluntarily retired from service on 13.05.1991. His father unfortunately also died on 08.06.2013. The claim is said to be pending since July, 2013.
Since the issue is still to be examined by the authority, no adjudication is called for in the instant proceedings. Interest of justice would be served by directing Respondent No.2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order thereupon, within six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Let the dues found admissible be also paid within four weeks thereafter. This disposes of the writ application.
