JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-02-2020 The petitioner has a grievance that a private person has encroached upon the public land in respect of which a proceeding has been initiated under Bihar land Encroachment Act, 1956 by the Circle Officer, Dhaka (East Champaran), but no definite action has been taken so far. It is the petitioner's case that the proceedings are still pending despite passing of the final order by the Circle Officer, who is the Collector under the Act.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari, to ensure that
