2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"for directing the respondents authorities to make payment to the petitioner for the land sought to be acquired by the Land Acquisition Officer, West Champaran (R4) for the construction of the proposed NH-730 project (From Sevarhi to U.P.) at the present market price at which sale and purchase has been taking place in the vicinity as evident from an illustrative sale-deed (Annexure-P/3) and not at the

Patna High Court CWJC No.689 of 2026(4) dt.04-05-2026 2/2 rate arbitrarily indicated in the notice issued to the petitioner and his family-members in L.A. Case No.22 of 2023-24; for payment of solatium, interest@9% & an additional compensation to the petitioner for the incidental damages suffered due to the acquisition including the price of the properties standing on the land-in-question; and for all other relief/s the petitioner is found entitled to in the given facts & circumstances of the case at hand."

3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they shall be filing a proper representation before the Arbitrator-cum-Divisional Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur in next four weeks.

4. This Court is of the opinion that if any petition is preferred, it will be taken to its logical conclusion by the respondent no. 2, Arbitrator-cum-Divisional Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
