JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 21-10-2020 Heard Mr. Suresh Prasad Sah @ Baranwal, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Manish Kumar, learned G.P.4 and Mr. Kunal Tiwary, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission through video conferencing.

The petitioner in this writ petition seeks direction to measure the height of the petitioner afresh as the height of the petitioner is 160.02 c.m. The petitioner by way of

Patna High Court CWJC No.23079 of 2018(3) dt.21-10-2020 2/2 supplementary affidavit filed the measurement done by the Government doctor on 28.08.2019 but it appears that when the petitioner appeared before the Selection Board, the Selection Board found the height of the petitioner as 158.1 c.m. The petitioner being dissatisfied with the measurement of her height filed appeal before the Chairman of the Selection Commission. Thereafter, the measurement was again done and petitioner was measured as 158.3 c.m. The petitioner was not found qualified, therefore, her candidature was rejected.

From perusal of the records, it appears that process of appointment of Sub-Inspector of Police has already been completed and fresh advertisement for appointment on the post of Sub-Inspector of Police has already been initiated. Having considered the facts aforesaid, I do not find any merit in this writ petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
