The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Complaint Case No.1114C/2019, for the offences allegedly committed by the petitioner under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code. The complainant in sum and substance alleged that after her marriage with Randhir Sharma on 14.06.2013, she went to her Sasural, but her husband and other in laws started demanding additional dowry and subjected her to all sorts of torture. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the sister-in-law (Gotni) of the complainant. Notices were issued to the complainant but she did not appear. The learned Additional P.P., however, opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

No.84901 of 2019(4) dt.10-02-2021 2/2 Having considered the submissions and on perusal of the complaint petition, it appears that the petitioner is the sister-inlaw (Gotni) of the complainant and no specific allegation of demand of dowry and torture is made against the petitioner. Taking into consideration the facts and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is the sister-in-law (Gotni) of the complainant, let petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Begusarai in connection with Complaint Case No.1114C/2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
