2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S. Tr. No. 495/2024, arising out of Dehri (M) P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The allegation is that the deceased had committed suicide because of the torture meted out on the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 23.07.2024. He further submits that in the trial out of seven witnesses, two witnesses have been examined. Learned counsel

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.91339 of 2025(4) dt.02-04-2026 2/2 has also relied upon a Judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case Pardeep Kumar @ Banu vs. State of Punjab, passed in SLP (Crl.) No. 18775/2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, period of custody and the Judgment in the case of Pardeep Kumar @ Banu (supra) and delay in trial, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Vth District & Additional Sessions Judge, Rohtas at Sasaram/concerned Court below in connection with S. Tr. No. 495/2024, arising out of Dehri (M) P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024.
