Ltd. The matter has been taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioner in this writ petition challenged the order of initiation of departmental proceeding against him and putting him under suspension but during the pendency of this writ petition the departmental proceeding has already been

Mr. Anand Kumar Ojha, the learned counsel for the respondents, submits that counter affidavit has already been filed on behalf of the respondents.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the departmental proceeding has already been concluded, this writ petition has become infructuous and he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file, if so advised, another writ petition, after exhausting alternative remedy, against the order inflicting punishment on the petitioner.

This writ petition is, accordingly, permitted to be withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
