Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Recovery of liquor is alleged from the fodder house of co-accused-Rajeev Rajak. The petitioners were not there at the time of recovery. Petitioners have got no such criminal antecedent.

Considering the fact that there is no substantial material against the petitioners for the purpose of consideration of this prayer for regular bail, let the petitioners, above named,

No.86626 of 2019(2) dt.14-01-2020 2/2 be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand)each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bakhri Police Station Case No.157 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below as well as petitioners shall not leave the country without permission of the Court and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
