2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 191(2), 190, 103(1), 115(2), 118(1) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per F.I.R., 13 named accused, including petitioner, assaulted son of the informant, who died on way to hospital.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of existing land dispute, petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Allegation of assault is general and omnibus and no specific overt has been attributed to this petitioner. As per post-mortem report, 8 injuries have been found on the person of deceased. Petitioner is 65 years old, having clean antecedent, and is in custody since 08.10.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - VII, Darbhanga at Laheriasarai in connection with Baheri P.S. Case No. 299 of 2025.
