Petitioner is in custody in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2016 for the offence under sections 401, 413, 414, 467, 468, 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.11.2019.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in the sale and purchase of stolen motorcycle. The name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and his name surfaced on the confessional statement

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86968 of 2019(2) dt.28-01-2020 2/2 of co-accused, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000 (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2016.
