The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 341, 324, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution case as lodged by the informant is that on 20.06.2019 at 6 AM when he was returning from his book shop, the petitioner attacked him and inflicted a blow with knife on the left side and of his chest and snatched Rs. 72,000/- and a gold chain.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that occurrence took place on 20.06.2019 but FIR was lodged on 21.06.2019. He submits that petitioner bears no criminal
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85350 of 2019(3) dt.18-03-2020 2/2 antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 21.06.2019.
Learned counsel for the informant submits that the injury found upon the informant is grievous in nature. In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail after completion of 1 year in custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M. Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 355 of 2019.
