Claim made in the instant writ petition is for grant of benefits under the Assured Career Progression (for brevity, ACP) Scheme. Petitioner claims to be employee of the Consolidation Office. It is his submission that the dues on account of benefits under ACP has been ascertained by the office. However, the benefits under the same have not been paid.

Petitioner, for his claim, has approached the Joint Director, Consolidation (respondent No 3). However, till date,

Under these circumstances, since decision has to be taken by the Joint Director, Consolidation, the matter is being disposed of with a direction to take a final decision on the claim of the petitioner (Annexure 2 of the writ petition) by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
