The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No.219 of 2019 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code besides Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is that the petitioner was apprehended with the motorcycle. On search of the motorcycle, 112 bottles, each containing 300 ml. Nepali Safi Wine, were recovered. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that while the petitioner is accused in two other cases of similar nature, as detailed in paragraph-3 to this application, but in those cases, the petitioner is on bail. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No.219 of 2019.
