The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 420 and 283 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 23 of the Pre Conception and pre natal Diagnostic Technique (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994 and Para-08 of Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquettes and Ethics) Regulation, 2002.

Allegation has been made that the petitioner is running Ultrasound Centre without proper certification. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the certificate has been issued in name of present petitioner and the name of Dr. Pratima Kumari is also there.

No.37430 of 2018 (2) dt.05-07-2018 2 /2 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioner, namely, Sujeet Mohan @ Dr. Sujeet Mohan @ Sijit Mohan, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate - XV, Patna in connection with Phulwarisharif P.S. Case No.284 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
