Case No. 407 of 2024; therefore, they are being heard together and disposed of by a common order.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant.

3. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No. 407 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

4. The allegation against the petitioners and other coaccused persons is that they brutally assaulted the informant's father with bricks, knife, etc., resulting in his death over a trivial dispute.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. They are in custody since 08.08.2025 and have no criminal antecedent.

6. Learned APP appearing for the State and the learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners. The learned counsel for the informant has given an undertaking that the informant will cooperate in the trial and will produce all the witnesses in the trial.

7. Considering the nature and seriousness of the allegations, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

8. Accordingly, both these bail applications stand dismissed with a direction to the Court below to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year.

9. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioners may renew their prayer for bail.
