It is the case of the petitioner that he had applied before the Bihar School Examination Board for grant of affiliation in favour of Shitla Devi Swarn Kumari Uchcha Vidyalaya Sah Inter College, Bhitthi, Siwan, way back on 12.10.2015, which is still pending. It has been asserted in the writ application that the petitioner has fulfilled all the requisites for grant of affiliation.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it is statutory obligation of the Bihar School Examination Board to take a decision on the petitioner's application for grant

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Board has, on the other hand, submitted that if the petitioner's application is found to be still pending and if it is found that necessary formalities have been done, the Board shall consider his application, in accordance with law.
5. In view of the submission on behalf of the parties noted above, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board to ensure that a decision is taken on the petitioner's application for grant of affiliation, if the same is pending. If any defect is found in the petitioner's application or if any further requirement are found necessary for the petitioner to fulfill, the Board shall intimate to the petitioner, in this regard. The Court expects that the entire exercise would be completed within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
6. This disposes of the application.
