The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Turkaulia P.S. Case No. 109 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Allegation against petitioner is that he demanded extortion money of Rs. 1 lacs from the informant on mobile phone otherwise he will kill his grandson.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It has been further submitted that petitioner has never demanded extortion money from the informant. There is land

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Turkaulia P.S.
