The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 25 liters of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is accused in one case in which he is on bail. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 16.10.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85110 of 2019(2) dt.20-12-2019 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-2- cum Special Judge Excise, Nalanda in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019.
