The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Bela P.S. Case No.68 of 2018 registered under Sections 302 and 304-B read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are married sisters-in-law (Gotnis) of the victim. They apprehend their arrest at the hands of the police in connection with aforestated case. It is submitted that due to matrimonial discord and incompatability between the husband and wife, the victim consumed poison and committed suicide. The petitioners had no interference in the day-to-day life of the couple

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55348 of 2018 (2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 and their names have been given in the FIR only because they happen to be sisters of the husband of the victim. Learned counsel for the State opposed the application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioners. Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made above, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within six weeks from today, they are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sadar, Sitamarhi in connection with Bela P.S. Case No.68 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Md.S./- U T
