2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence punishable under Section 140(3) of B.N.S. and later on, Sections 103(1), 238, 61(2) of B.N.S. were added.

3. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Name of the petitioner surfaced during investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused Rishi Kumar @ Nand Lal Raj, who stated that this petitioner along with other accused persons assaulted son of informant brutally and thereafter, in order to conceal the evidence, threw his dead-body in a canal, from which the dead-body was recovered.

4. Considering the material which has been collected during investigation and gravity of offence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
