ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 20-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 09.11.2019 in connection with Pakridayal P.S. Case No.358 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 50 litres of raw material and two litres of country-made liquor were allegedly recovered from the house of the petitioner. However, the petitioner was not present at his house. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1387 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2020 2/2 bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Pakridayal P.S. Case No.358 of 2019.
