2. The instant writ application has been filed for the following relief(s):- For direction/directions upon the Respondents to renew the Passport of the petitioner bearing Passport No. M4032923, which was issued on 09.12.2014 and was valid up to 08.12.2024.

3. In view of the stands taken by the leanrned counsel for the Union of India that the documents which were sought from the petitioner has not been produced owing to which the renewal of passport of this petitioner, bearing Passport No. M4032923 could not be carried out.

The petitioner is directed to response to the notices issued by the authorities of the Regional Passport Office, Patna for renewal of the passport, and in case, the application made for renewal has been closed by the Office of Regional Passport Office, Patna owing to his non-submission of response, in such event, the petitioner would be directed appropriately by the authorities of the Regional Passport Office, Patna to fill up the Form for Renewal of the Passport afresh, which shall be considered and appropriate decision would be taken, and accordingly, the renewal of passport shall be carried out by by the Office of Regional Passport Office, Patna.

5. The authorities concerned shall issue notice to the petitioner within a period of ten days from the date of representation made by this petitioner. The entire exercise shall be carried out within a period of six weeks.

6. With the above observation and direction, this writ application stands disposed.
