The petitioner is in custody since 16.03.2018 in connection with Dharhara P.S. Case No.52 of 2018 registered for the offence under Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was merely a pillion driver on the motorcycle, which was alleged to have been stolen and was driven by the cousin brother. It is further submitted that since the petitioner has no criminal antecedents, he may be extended the privilege of bail.
