Petitioner seeks bail in Excise Case No.76 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that one Brajesh Kumar was apprehended by SSB with 116 bottles (34 litres) of Nepali wine. He disclosed the name of this petitioner, who is in custody since 26.07.2018.

It is mentioned in para 3 to the bail application that petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56869 of 2018 (2) dt.28-09-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 7th Additional Sessions Judge, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Excise Case No.76 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
