The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 420, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact the petitioner has not taken any money and he has falsely been implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, the dispute relates to a piece of land between the parties which is purely a nature of civil dispute. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 27.10.2019. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84823 of 2019(2) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner taken altogether Rs.6,95,000/- from the informant against the alleged piece of land but neither the petitioner has executed the said land nor he is ready to return the alleged money.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of bail is rejected.
