In this case, the petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Kalyanpur P.S. Case No. 288 of 2019 registered for offences under sections 30(a), 41(2)(1), 47 of the Bihar Prohibition Liquor and Excise Act, 2018. As per allegation, huge quantity of illicit English wine has been recovered from the house of co-accused Santosh Rai. The petitioners were there at the place of occurrence but, they managed to escape from there.

Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered as also considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners, above named, is rejected.

If the petitioners surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today and make a prayer for bail, the court below, without being prejudiced by this order, will pass orders in accordance with law.
