2. Petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Siwan Muffasil (Dhanuati) P.S. Case No. 620 of 2025 registered for the offences under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act.

3. As per FIR, 217.560 liters of illegal liquor is said to have been recovered from Maruti Suzuki Wagon R.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, bearing registration No. BRIAB9540, does not belong to this petitioner. The petitioner is not the owner of this vehicle from where the recovery is said to have been made, while the petitioner is the driver, who has been driving the said car on the instruction of the owner. It has next been submitted that petitioner has been in judicial custody since 28.08.2025. Lastly,

5. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Regard being had to the submission made by the parties and taking into consideration the period of custody of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (Excise) in connection with Siwan Muffasil (Dhanuti) P.S.
