JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 04-02-2020 In the facts and circumstances of the case where the grievance of the petitioner is that though the First Information Report was lodged about four months back but no investigation is taking place and in this connection his request to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, East, Muzaffarpur and other Senior Officers including the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur as contained in Annexure 'P-2' have failed to draw their attention and they

WJC No.1840 of 2019(2) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 are just sitting over the matter, instead of keeping this writ application pending with this court, at this stage this court deems it just and proper to direct the Senior Superintendent of Police, East Muzaffarpur (respondent no. 4) to look into the matter, review the case and supervise the same by issuing such necessary directions to the Investigating Officer which may be thought just and and proper by him in the facts and circumstances of the case but in any case the investigation must proceed and progress be made. It is expected that the police final report will be filed in this case within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
This Writ Application stands disposed off accordingly.
