2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sasaram Muffasil P.S. Case No. 499 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 127(1), 115(2), 109, 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the victim causing injury.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel submits that there is land dispute
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.89673 of 2025(4) dt.23-06-2026 2/2 between the parties. The petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the period of custody, this application is allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas, Sasaram/ concerned Court below in connection with Sasaram Muffasil P.S. Case No. 499 of 2024.
8. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not express any opinion on the merits of the case.
