JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 05-02-2020 The petitioner in the present case is looking for a direction to the Senior Police Officer particularly the Superintendent of Police, Madhubani (respondent no. 5) to ensure speedy investigation of the two cases being Basopatti P.S. Case No. 171/2019 and Basopatti P.S. Case No. 193/2019.

Learned A.A.G.-III for the State submits that a case has been registered only in the month of July, 2019 and the investigation is still going on as also that the petitioner who is office bearer of the political party has moved this court on his own and that he has no locus-standi to intervene in this case and seek directions from this court. This Court agrees with the submission of learned A.A.G.-III that investigation of the case is going on. This court finds no reason to entertain the present writ application at the instance of the petitioner who is an office bearer of a political party and has no personal bearing in this case but is looking for certain directions, may be for his own reasons. The Writ Application stands dismissed.
