The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Majorganj (Suppi) P.S. Case No.191 of 2017, registered under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that her daughter was married with Binod Sahni, the petitioner in the year 2010. Her daughter was always informing that her sister-in-law, Bachia Devi and brother-in-law (Bhaisur), Manog Sahni were always threatening her to kill. On 21.05.2017, her son-in-law informed her to come for treatment of her daughter. When the informant reached there, she saw her daughter dead due to burn injuries but Binod Sahni did not disclose as to how Rani Devi died.

It appears that Rani Devi got 90% burn injury and she died inside her house on account of burn injury. Petitioner is the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84246 of 2019(3) dt.18-06-2020 2/2 husband of the deceased and he did not explain how his wife died.

Taking into consideration the facts and nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is the husband and his wife died of burn injury in the house, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
