JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 12-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Hajipur Town P.S. Case No. 440 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 452, 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

The name of petitioner came in this case in confessional statement of co-accused who was caught on the spot just after the alleged occurrence.

Therefore, considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
