The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 262 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The accusation is of recovery of 136 bottles, each containing 180 ML, Indian made foreign liquor from the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.11.2019.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.157 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2020 2/2 Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 4th Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 262 of 2019.
