The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 229 of 2018 dated 23.05.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

It appears from the prosecution report that by presenting some alive person as dead, registration of a society was obtained by the members of such society. The major allegation is directed against one Kumari Padma who is stated to have been granted anticipatory bail by a bench of this Court.

No.85589 of 2019(3) dt.16-06-2020 2/2 Apart from this, it has been submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and has been made accused in this case only during the investigation on the finding of the fact that the petitioner is also one of the office bearers of Progressive Education and Rural Development Society, Nalanda, which got its registration. There is nothing against the petitioner except for the fact that he also is on the board of office bearers.

Considering the aforementioned facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 229 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
