The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 364 of 2018, registered under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that informant Manjar Imam along with Sahabuddin and Kamre Alam was in the way near the orchard of Mainuddin Mian, at that time, four motorcycle borne miscreants came and started snatching motorcycle and mobile. On protest, they caused injury to informant and his associates, but, anyhow, out of four miscreants, one person was apprehended, who disclosed his name Ali Raja @ Ali Ahmad, he also disclosed the name of his three other associates i.e. Shamshad, Raju, Javed (Petitioner), who

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that the name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of Ali Raja @ Ali Ahmad, who has been apprehended on the spot. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 11.07.2019 and Police on investigation has already submitted Chargesheet.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gopalganj in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 364 of 2018.
