The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tajpur (Wani O.P.) P.S. Case No.380 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a), 47 (i), (ii) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amended) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to local dirty village politics. Nothing incriminating articles were recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner had no knowledge about the incident and the alleged recovered liquor. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 25.11.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85530 of 2019(2) dt.18-01-2020 2/2 let the, above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned III Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge Excise Samastipur in connection with Tajpur (Wani O.P.) P.S. Case No.380 of 2019.
