18-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners seek bail in Mushahari P.S. Case No. 224 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, daughter of the informant was married with son of the petitioners on 19-04-2019 and thereafter, it is alleged that due to non-fulfillment of demand of Rs. 50,000/- as dowry, she was subjected to torture & cruelty and finally, daughter of the informant was killed by strangulation by all the accused persons.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioners, being father-in-law and mother-in-law respectively of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85997 of 2019(3) dt.18-03-2020 2/2 deceased, are innocent and have committed no offence. It is further submitted that deceased was a short-tempered lady and she committed suicide by hanging herself due to some petty family issues. It is submitted that deceased with her husband were living separately and petitioners have no concern with them. Petitioner are in custody since 18-09-2019, having no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as nature of accusation, let the above named petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Mushahari P.S. Case No. 224 of 2019.
