The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with G.R. No. 2142 of 2019 arising out of Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 171 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 341/ 342/ 323/ 354(B)/ 386/ 504/ 506/ 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the petitioner and one other accused person having caught hold of the victim girl and had threatened her with dire consequences, in case she does not withdraw the case, which she has lodged against the accused persons of the said case.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87350 of 2019(2) dt.16-01-2020 2/2 further submitted that though the petitioner is accused in one other case, but he is on bail in the said case. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 28.08.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to direct for release of the petitioners on regular bail.

Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Munger in connection with G.R. No. 2142/ 2019, arising out of Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 171 of 2019.
