The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Dumra P. S. Case No. 374 of 2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85241 of 2019(7) dt.26-04-2022 2/3 As per allegation, the informant, Sarita Kumari was married to the petitioner in the year 2005. The accused persons subjected her to cruelty for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. They also refused to maintain the victim and her children. Ultimately, she was ousted from her matrimonial house.

The matter was referred to the District Mediation Cetnre. The report of the mediation has since been received, which shows that the parties did not appear before the learned Mediator, as such, it appears that they are not willing to restore the matrimonial relationship. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi, in connection with Dumra P. S. Case No. 374 of
