2. The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2019 in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 250 of 2018 for the alleged offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated on mere suspicion in connection with recovery of 4263 litres of foreign wine from a truck. The petitioner's name has transpired on the confessional statement of co-accused Randhir Kumar @ Mintu Kumar, except which there is no objective material to connect the petitioner with the alleged occurrence. The said co-accused has been granted bail by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 16383 of 2019.

4. Learned APP appears and opposes the petition, pointing out that the petitioner is accused in four prior cases of similar nature. Despite being on bail in such cases, he has once again indulged in an offence of similar nature.

5. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed.
