Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 386 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant has alleged that he received a call from a specific mobile number by which a ransom of Rs. 5 lacs was demanded from him and non payment of which he will have to suffer dire consequences. The alleged demand of ransom was confessed by one Md. Chand, who in his confessional statement

No.84947 of 2019(2) dt.20-12-2019 2/3 has stated that petitioner is his friend and he told Danish that the owner of Jaiswal Electric Shop does not speak properly with him, as such, he should be taught a lesson and thereafter he made a call to him and demanded a ransom of Rs. 5 lacs. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is nothing alleged against him and all allegations of demand of ransom is against Md. Chand, who has confessed his guilt also. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 14.10.2019.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger, in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 418 of 2019, subject to conditions:

(1) Bailors should be local having sufficient immovable property within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.

(2) Petitioner shall co-operate in the trial and shall be represented on each and every date fixed by the court.

(3) If the petitioner tampers with the evidence or the witnesses of the case, in that case, prosecution will
