The present petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to make proper investigation of Madhepur PS case no. 118 of 2019 dated 08.08.2019, lodged by the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 302,

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1885 of 2019(2) dt.06-01-2020 2/3 201/34 of Indian Penal Code and take appropriate action against the private respondents no. 8 to 11, since they are threatening the petitioner and her family members. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the private respondents no. 8 to 11 are not accused persons, as far as the present case is concerned, however the petitioner and her family members have threat to their lives at the behest of the said persons.

The learned counsel appearing for the State submits that in case, the petitioner is having any threat from the private respondents no. 8 to 11, she is free to file appropriate case/ complaint before the appropriate authority/ court and the same cannot be made the subject matter of the present petition. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would definitely approach the appropriate authorities, hence a direction be given to the appropriate authorities to consider the grievances of the petitioner herein.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition stands disposed off as not pressed, however with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna for redressal of her grievances.
