Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Vinay Kriti Singh, learned Sr. Counsel appearing on behalf of the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No.405 of 2019 corresponding to G.R. No.3885/19 registered for the offence
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84335 of 2019(2) dt.19-12-2019 2/2 punishable under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the entire amount is disputed and the petitioner is willing to sit across the table and make appropriate payments, if so required. Considering the amounts stated in the context to the tune of Rs.26,742/-, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi, in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No.405 of 2019 corresponding to G.R. No.3885/19, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
