The petitioner purchased 1 katha land of Khesra No.812 of Khata No.110 situated in Survey Ward No.6, Nagar Parishad Ward No.24 Halka No.11 within the township of Hajipur through a sale deed registered on 21.11.2008 from Sri Meghan Singh and Sri Veerchandra Singh. The petitioner filed petition before the Circle Officer, Hajipur to measure the land of the petitioner. The petition for measurement was filed on 14.02.2019 but the Circle Officer has not passed any order nor got the land of the petitioner measured through Anchal Amin.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1051 of 2020(2) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 The Circle Officer is under law obliged to get the land of the person measured, if such person filed petition for measurement of the land after depositing required fees.

Accordingly, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Circle Officer, Hajipur to get the land of the petitioner measured within two months from the date of receipt of this order on deposit of required fees.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
